  6. introduces the V.32bis 14.4Kbps Internal Modem which rounds
  7. out the high end of the BOCAMODEM family product line.
  8. The 14.4Kbps modem combines high speed data with modem and
  9. fax capabilities on a single high-powered board. It is
  10. designed for IBM PCs and compatible systems, and is available
  11. now at a suggested retail price of $395.

  13.      The 14.4Kbps features asynchronous operation, automatic
  14. format and/or speed sensing, programmable speaker volume
  15. control, and recognition of a busy signal, ringing, and a no
  16. dial tone status.  It also provides auto dial allowing you to
  17. automatically dial preprogrammed telephone numbers and auto
  18. answer which automatically answers incoming calls.  V.32bis
  19. offers a maximum modem communication speed of 14.4Kbps, and
  20. V.42bis MNP5 data compression and error correction produces
  21. superior throughput of up to 57.6Kbps.  It also provides for
  22. error-free data transmission.

  24.      Fascimile software features, allowing scheduling at off-
  25. peak hours, offer significant savings on monthly line
  26. charges.  Group III 'send and receive' capability allows the
  27. PC user to fax practically anywhere in the world; the
  28. 14.4Kbps modem also utilizes Class 1 or Class 2 fax commands.
  29. It supports the CCITT V.32bis, V.32, V.22bis, V.22 and V.21
  30. worldwide modem modulation protocols and Bell 212A and 103
  31. U.S. protocols.  100 x 196 high fax resolution, 100 x 98 low
  32. fax resolution, and high-level data link control framing
  33. (HDLC) are supported.  Fax modulation protocols supported are
  34. CCITT V.29, V.27ter, V.21, and V.17.  As with all BOCAMODEM
  35. products, the 14.4Kbps is fully Hayes compatible.
